About Dr. Rajendra Singh Bhati
What began as a compassionate initiative during postgraduate training at NIMHANS, Bangalore, became MAN Society — founded by Dr. Bhati in 2001 to transform mental health care through treatment, rehabilitation, education, and stigma reduction.
Under his leadership the MAN ecosystem grew from early support for children into a full continuum of care: a Special School and Day Care Centre, a Psychiatric Nursing Home and District De-Addiction Centre (DDAC), and MAN College of Special Education & Psychological Studies — offering RCI-recognized programmes that prepare clinicians and special educators for practice.
His clinical focus spans community mental health, drug de-addiction, and child psychology. He has served as Ex-Civil Surgeon at District Hospital, Guna; Ex-Secretary of the Indian Psychiatric Society (MP Chapter); Ex-Secretary of the Indian Medical Association, Guna Branch; and Ex-Executive Member of the IPS Central Zone.
Dr. Bhati’s vision remains clear: mental health as a cornerstone of resilient communities — advanced through evidence-based care, awareness, and the professionals he helps train.
